    I'll admit I wasn't much of a coffee/cold brew drinker before, but I recently tried Starbucks Cold Brew and I was quite impressed. This Cold Brew has a subtly sweet flavor that I quite enjoy. The taste is subjective, but I personally found it to be better then some restaurant based competitors like Tim Hortons and Wendy's.

    Overall, Starbucks Cold Brew is a great option for coffee lovers who enjoy a smooth and tasteful cold brew experience. It also helps that when on sale, the whole container which makes 8 servings is less then one store-bought drink from Starbucks themselves!

    This product has a great flavour compared to other bottled cold coffee products I have tried however it is also one of the more expensive.

    This product is great for reheating or adding to ice/milk/sweetener on the go. It can be used for baking or alcohol based drinks.

    Once opened the product needs refrigeration but seems to hold up in flavour and quality for quite some time after opening.

    For a heavy drinker of coffee this product will not be cost effective to replace bagged ground coffee however it is a nice alternative to other coffee preparations available.

    I have been searching for years on how to make the perfect iced coffee at home, and have tried a full sized espresso machine (rarely used as it wasn't a great machine and was difficult to use), an Aeropress (quite the nifty little gadget that I turn to for fantastic Havana lattes and hot drinks), instant coffee (not good), and other cold brews with no success (too watered down).

    Enter Starbucks cold brew concentrate. And that's the secret - CONCENTRATE. The instructions say to mix the concentrate 1:1 with water, but I mix it 1:1 with milk. And voila, perfect iced coffee, just like what's been bought in the cafe. I add a splash of vanilla syrup and it's seriously better than most iced coffees out there as I can control the sugar.

    So thank you, thank you, thank you for finally releasing this cold brew concentrate! It's absolutely wonderful and is now a main staple in our kitchen.

    Taste is great. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are talking about, probably never tasted cold brew before. It has that same smoothness and tastes of their medium roast cold brew you buy from grocery stores. It does have a weird after taste (like you have some grounded coffee in your mouth), but nothing insane to call this product nasty.

    My main concern was I did not feel awake after I drinking this. I thought maybe I drank too little, so I had another cup, but still felt nothing. I checked the bottle and nowhere does it say it contains any caffeine. Usually product like these tell you how much caffeine there are (their cold brew and double shot have it), but all it says is it is made out of coffee and water. To confirm, I walked to the grocery to buy their medium roast cold brew, and sure enough I felt awake after I drank half a cup of it. Kinda felt deceived, because I thought this would be perfect when I don't have time in the morning to make coffee.

    I don’t know how to describe the taste of this… but it is NOT cold brew coffee. Tastes terrible!

    I have tried diluting with many different ratios. I have tried it with different flavour, different creamers, nothing at all, everything but the kitchen sink — it is so gross.

    It can't be returned unfortunately. Save your money!
