Picture perfect in any light
With Adaptive Brightness, Fire TV is optimized to display a wide range of content in different room environments. A built-in ambient light sensor allows the display to adjust screen brightness to your lighting conditions. Additionally, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive use this sensor to intelligently display every detail with incredible brightness, contrast, and color to deliver a perfect picture in your room at every moment.
Striking contrast
Full array local dimming dramatically improves contrast through 96 zones that adjust independently to increase or reduce lighting intensity in specific areas of the screen. This helps to unlock details in dark areas, and resolve subtle tones that might be lost in the brightest parts of the picture.

- Reviewed in Canada on December 14, 2024Size: 75-inchConfiguration: TV onlyVerified PurchaseI picked this up for our basement entertainment area. Its predominantly used for gaming by my son, but its also where we'll watch movies when we want the big screen feel (we have a 55" 4K fire TV in the living room). The picture is great, response is plenty fast for gaming, and the FireTV interface is awesome. I really like the presence sensing - its become the night light for the basement... when you walk down it runs the screen saver which lights the room just enough that you won't smash your shin into the coffee table (or trip on the toys the kids leave out!). I got a Govee dymaimc backlite kit for it too, which really makes it a fun experience. All TV's in my home are Amazon 4K FireTV's... the price is unbeatable, the interface is easy to use, and the picture quality is top notch. Not a single issue with any TV so far. I also recommend getting the upgraded remote - the back light and 'find remote' feature are worth every penny.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 24, 2023Size: 75-inchConfiguration: TV onlyVerified PurchaseTook a chance a while back on this 75 inch Qled model after carefully reading reviews and and other options.
Very Impressed that Amazon has such a good product.
First thing you will notice is the size as it may leave you speechless. The day it arrived I had trouble bringing it up the stairs to the 3rd floor the box was large and heavy for 1 person to handle. Unboxing it was very simple and great care must be taken. Setting up the legs was straight forward as well and please make sure at least 2 people do the setup weight and size.
Setup was a breeze either wired or wireless absolutely no issues as the menus are very simple to use. built in features are excellent and apps can very easily be added by any one at any level. Love using Alexa as I can ask to open my favorite feature and within a second or so be right in. Unless you are a speed fanatic you will be extremely pleased with performance.
Picture Quality I find very good with only as expected adjustment to contrast is acceptable and fine for a Qled no disappointment there. 4K is nice and I have even connected my 2 PCs on the HDMI ports and the results are great. The only thing that I don't find great is the remote as it is easy to use but doe lack features and when the battery is a bit low an annoying message appears <low battery> on the screen very annoying.
I would highly recommend this model for anyone who is looking for great value quality large screen experience. Amazons' payment options make it well worth the purchase.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 13, 2024Size: 55-inchConfiguration: TV onlyVerified PurchaseThe 4k picture is very nice however, the FireOS leaves a lot to be desired. I am a believer that if you can connect your devices by a wired connection, you should. Connecting via a wired connection makes the connection to the internet pretty much foolproof, and latency free (I have Telus fibre at home).
I find that the user interface can be very laggy. Using the remote to move between menus can be sloooowww.... Click.. wait... click... wait... Rebooting the TV completely will fix the issue for a short time but the issue almost always reoccurs. The other part that drives me NUTS is that when using Netflix/Disney+/Prime Video, you pause a show for more than 5 minutes the TV will shut itself off. There is no way to over ride this option and drives me insane.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 10, 2023Size: 65-inchConfiguration: TV onlyVerified PurchaseI haven’t had a TV for about three years now, but I guess this one is OK, I really hate that There is a quite a long lag for everything. When you open an app like YouTube or Disney+ or Netflix, it takes about two or three seconds to load and that’s not good enough for me. I need it to load instantly I did get $100 discount because I have worked at an Amazon facility before however, sacrificing four weeks of my life working at a fulfilment centre was not worth a 10% discount.
This tv does support airplay. The quality is good I guess and I really like the 65 inch.
I pay monthly for this TV. No I couldn’t afford to pay it all at once.
UPDATE 2.0
After a month of having it, the Alexa on my tv is suddenly malfunctioning also Whenever I watch a movie on Netflix and Apple TV it glitches every like two or three minutes depending on what day of the week it is or it just fully stops every five minutes and I have to reload it. It seems like the fire tv apps aren’t updating along with the fire tv updates I’m just worried the issues are gonna get worse with time.
Update 3.0
The tv is working great however it seems like every app takes about 3-5 seconds to load once you first open it, which is slower than most Samsung tv
Update 4.0
It’s fine now I only watch Netflix, there’s not much shows on Apple TV and Disney plus only has super idk shows, by the way the tv is doing fine, it’s big yes and I like it that way, the quality though idk it seems pretty god nothing special just really good , if you’re reading thi
