I purchased this at the beginning of the season for use on my travel trailer to access the roof. My trailer did not come with an attached ladder and to add one was way more expensive than this. It is heavier than a simple straight ladder but its compactness is what was needed. It fits nicely in the front storage compartment.
I feel comfortable standing on it (I'm over 200 lbs) but it does wobble a bit. Within the first few times of using it one of the release tabs broke but it is still usable as the remaining part of the tab can still release. The rubber bumpers used to keep the ladder from pinching fingers is definitely needed as the ladder collapses quickly when the tabs are pressed. For the cost it is a pretty good product.

I bought this for my RV so I could put kayaks on and off the roof. I was worried that it would not be strong enough to bear my weight plus the kayak when I put it on the roof. No need to worry! This thing is very strong and does not wobble or sag! It goes up easily and you can leave some top segments collapsed so as not to bee too high. It fits my storage compartment easily. Note the weight on the spec sheet. Its not light or flimsy so if you are infirm it might be a bit much to handle.

I've used it a couple of times now to access the roof of my trailer. Didnt even need to fully extend it. Its got a narrow base, so even with the rubber feet I would recommend a buddy hold the base of the ladder just in case. Seems to be pretty good quality, too. Shrinks down small enough to fit in the storage area under the bed in the trailer, not unreasonably heavy either. This is a MUCH easier way to get your tarp straps up very high in the trees while camping vs throwing ropes over branches, or climing, or standing on your girlfriends shoulders ;) I would recommend this ladder.

Finding a good ladder is a challenge if you're over 180 lbs, well I'm 250 and this is my 2nd ladder by this company since Nov 2017. With the first one, (with the release tabs on the face of the rungs), the top rung broke off while I was closing it down in extremely cold weather, (first winter), so it's functional, just a little shorter. This is still my go to ladder. The second ladder I got in Oct 2019 and it looks great but the catches, (with the release tabs on the bottom of the rungs), that keep the ladder extended don't seat properly and the ladder will lean to the side. This ladder has done this to me far too many times for me to trust it. I wish I could say it is operator error but it's not. This is NOT SAFE and the return policy is a very short window... way less than the 5 months I've had mine. If you're looking for a ladder that you're going to use 2 times a year and you're under 180 lbs maybe this is for you, otherwise, save your money.
