Small privately-owned company looking for experienced and reliable Properties Administrator.
In search of a hardworking responsible individual to make regular rounds at some properties within the Vancouver area (near Main Street Skytrain). The main priority of this position will be caring for both the operational and administrative of these spaces, addressing any issues, and responding to them in a timely manner. Handy skills are a benefit and common sense is absolutely required.
You will be administrating a mixed portfolio of properties. Throughout the administration of these sites you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions at these properties, planned and current maintenance work and working with tenants to check for outstanding maintenance and other issues.

Organized self-starter with excellent work ethic and good work habits
Individuals who enjoy and take pride in their work and who can work with little or no supervision
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Seocnd languages such as Cantonese as an asset.
Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
Qualifications:
Background in Sales (is an asset)
Strong leadership ability and working without supervision
Excellent problem solving and organization skills
Outgoing, people-oriented personality
Strong initiative / self-starter
Ability to multi-task
Flexible working hours
Contribute / cultivate team atmosphere
Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and Rent Magic
The Property Administrator needs to have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a very procedural and structured way. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and personalities is also important as the individual in this role be managing tenant relationships and get repairs and maintenance done efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Market and rent vacant suites in maintaining an occupancy rate of 100%
Conduct apartment tours and move-in / move-out inspections
Maintain an accurate account of suite availability (i.e. availability lists, Vacancy report) and conduct regular inspections of vacant suites.
Maintain an accurate account of prospective residents
Delivery of property notices
Review and approve rental applications according to Company standards
Ensure new tenants are correctly entered into the system with respect to their lease dates, rent payments, etc. and that the correct name appears on the rent rolls.
Conduct tenant relations with the intent of achieving and maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction.
Accountable for the inventory of supplies within the office and common areas of the property.
Carry out other duties as assigned
Driven license is an asset
