Licensed CPA firm located in downtown Vancouver is seeking a full-time staff accountant for new Richmond office opening in March 2019

The candidate must have at least 3 years of Canadian public practice experience or 3 years plus personal income tax filing experiences with HR block. You must be able to deal with clients independently. You must be able to handle full-cycle accounting using Sage 50 or QuickBooks, have working knowledge of Taxprep for T1/T2 returns and Caseware for year end work. You are a great communicator that is fluent in both English and Chinese and be able to communicate directly with small business owners and CRA.

The right candidate will have a proactive and positive attitude who is able to prioritize and manage their time well, we are a professional accounting firm with clients in various business sectors. There will be a lot opportunity to grow with the firm.

Description of Duties:

Providing computerized bookkeeping services;

Prepare personal income tax return and corporate tax return;

Assist clients with filing tax remittances & payroll source deductions;

Assist with communicating with CRA on behalf of clients;

Prepare year end working paper files and related financial statements;

Other administrative tasks as required.
