We are seafood company based in Vancouver BC. We have a small team of 10 and have an immediate opening for an Office and Accounting Assistant. This is permanent full-time position. Job duties will include the following
• Inventory Control
• Creating, processing billings and orders accordingly
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable when necessary
• Bank deposits
• Dealing with Customer Queries
• Providing excellent internal and external customer service
• Maintaining document control and providing administrative support to the Commercial Sales team
• Maintaining a positive attitude and communication style with customers and employees in all circumstances at all times
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organization and decision-making ability
Strong accounting skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and other departments
Ability to present information to senior management and customers
Working knowledge of MS Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook
Willingness to learn products, systems and processes
Qualifications:
1+ years of progressive experience in project administration
Experience with a service and manufacturing company, preferably in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
1+ years in full cycle accounting is an asset
Have valid driver's license
Can carry at least 25 pounds
