TCS Forensics have an immediate opening for a Digital Forensic Examiner. This is a full-time permanent year-round position responsible for analyzing digital-based information for forensics evidence.

As a digital Forensic Examiner your primary focus will be performing computer and mobile forensic examinations government, private and public sectors, and individuals.

• Dialogue with clients to identify and document requirements
• Perform business and technical studies

• Manage and handle information technology systems such as, but not limit to, familiar with applications, software and operations in computer, mobile phone, hard drive to analyze user patterns and prepare reports from findings. In addition, you will also able be responsible for conducting in-depth penetration testing and incident response.

• Design, develop, integrate, test and implement information systems business solutions that solve system problems and improve business process
• Auditing computers, cell phone, digital devices for micro-business and private individual relating to work place policy violation, IP theft, data loss, fraud, online background checks and documents multimedia authentication and vehicular accidents.
• Examine forensics image files of digital devices for artifacts, log files structure inconsistencies and modified or deleted evidence data
• Perform analyses of mobile electronic devices including but not limited to cellular, telephones, tablets, GPS equipment, Hard disks, Memory cards, Optical disks, etc.
• Using different software/computer programs to recover information from destroyed media devices; and preparing detailed reports after running computer analysis software applications.
• Following all safety and privacy procedures when handling sensitive financial or personal information such as documents, videos, or pictures.
• Need to handle and receive evidence carefully and keep accurate logs of duties performed.

• Conduct information security assessment and recommend remediation plans

• Develop and deliver security best practices presentations / public speaking

• Perform security analysist in the proposed system/application, review them, find the security problem and prepare preliminary report or the third party opinions what further action will be needed to the clients.
• Confer with clients and identify and documents requirements, access physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware to private sectors such as business and individual; review to access quality assurance practices and information systems for the clients.

• Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.

• Provide expert witness testimony
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior examiners

Requirements

• Minimum forensics and IT experience: 1 - 2 years
• Strong understanding of operating systems (such as Windows, Apple), Files systems
• Familiar with hardware, familiar with forensic imaging best practices
• Excellent innovation in problem solving and analytical thinking skill.
• Strong understanding of mobile device preservation and related analysis for Android, Apple, and Blackberry devices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to convey highly technical information in an easy to understand written report for court purpose
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize items
• Experience with the major examination tools such as EnCase, Axiom, and Cellebrite

• Security knowledge and experience plus able to apply technology solutions to business needs
• Can demonstrate experience in own lab or corporate environment
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices& network technologies
• Proven Security knowledge and experience plus able to apply technology solution to business needs
• Forensic certification(s) is preferable, such as EnCE, CCME, GCFE, CFCE, CCE or other related technical certifications or be willing to take them
