Aburi Restaurants Canada, we are proud to be the pioneers of Aburi sushi in Canada. With 9 restaurant locations in Canada and growing, we are looking for professional individuals to join our team!
You will provide support to the administration of payroll and benefit programs to ensure efficient and accurate processing & reporting. You will also provide customer service support to employees and managers on payroll and benefit matters.
Responsibilities
Processing new hires, employee changes, terminations and transfers of salary and hourly employees
Administering new hires to ADPWorkforce Now, audit of imported time & attendance from restaurant scheduling software
Processing full-cycle payroll for 9 locations on a semi-monthly basis for hourly and salary employees in BC and ON
Reconciling and remitting all payroll and company benefit liabilities to CRA, EHT, WCB, WSIB
Provide General Ledger to accounting department after payroll processing
Administer benefits enrolment, terminations, annual renewals
Complete wage report for WorkSafeBC and WSIB
Key liaison to hourly and salary employees in regards to payroll and benefits questions
Manage employee request forms for vacation to implement to payroll
Other duties as required
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years’ payroll and benefits experience
Excellent attention to detail and deadline conscious
Completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is considered an asset.
Experience with ADP Payroll is considered an asset
Knowledge of Employment Standards Act
Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and automated payroll processing
