Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team!

The Administrative Assistant is an important office support position. Working closely with Dr. Power's Accounting Manager, you are responsible to perform administrative tasks and office duties. This position demands an energetic professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. It allows you to learn and contribute your strengths and skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaise with executives and senior managers to handle requests and queries
• Act as the point of contact for internal staff
• Scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars and agendas, making travel arrangements,
• Reconcile and administer expense reports
• Perform administrative tasks such as handling phone inquiries, greeting guests
• Process documents including minute-taking, reviewing and editing documents and presentations, filing, photocopying, scanning,
• Ordering and maintaining office supplies and business cards.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

COMPETENCIES:

• 1-2 years of general office administration or customer service. Qualified candidates without direct experience are encouraged to apply.
• Post-secondary or equivalent education in business or office administration.
• Knowledge of human resources management is an asset
• Strong English writing and verbal communication skills. Cantonese or Mandarin language is an asset.
• Computer literate. Comfortable with technology and the use of standard office programs and networks.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining superior attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
