A Full Cycle Accountant is needed for an engineering and technology company headquartered in Downtown Vancouver BC.

This is a full time, in-office position and the Accountant will be reporting to the Group Controller and the company's Executive team. 

Responsibilities:

• Create monthly financial statements and other management reports
• Attend Board meetings and present financial results
• Manage and monitor cash flow
• Develop funding reports for grants and prepare ad hoc reports as needed
• Work closely with project managers to generate timely client invoices, manage receivables, and ensure timely payment application
• Reconcile and approve supplier invoices and employee expense reports for payment
• Process semi-monthly payroll for 25 employees and quarterly WorkSafeBC and Employer Health Tax reporting and payment
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST Returns and monthly PST Returns

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience (CPA designation preferred)
• Proficient in Excel and other MS applications
• Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Sage 300, including PJC module, is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
