Job Summary:
Tec VanLife, a leading provider of high-quality camper van conversions, is seeking a skilled and organized Inventory Manager to oversee our shipping and receiving operations for camper van conversion parts. As the Inventory Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing the flow of goods, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to our production team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the shipping and receiving operations for camper van conversion parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to reconcile discrepancies and identify potential issues.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolve any shipping or quality-related issues.
Collaborate with the production team to forecast inventory needs and ensure availability of required parts for ongoing projects.
Implement and maintain an effective inventory management system to track and monitor stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment schedules.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy and address any discrepancies.
Coordinate with the procurement team to source and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and lead times.
Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure adherence to inventory management procedures and best practices.
Implement safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling and lifting techniques for heavy items.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory control processes, reduce waste, and optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements:

Previous experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks related to shipping and receiving operations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and address inventory-related issues.
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling heavy items.
