Looking for a NANNY

We are a young and busy couple in Metrotown area looking for a nanny to help our family in caring for our two little boys, one is 3 years old and the other one is 2 years old.

The ideal applicant will have a strong background in caring for children either as a job or personal experience as well as a good understanding of running a household including cooking meals for children, light housekeeping.

Basic Requirements:
Legal status to work in Canada, prefer applicant from local.
Must have first aid certificate and class 5 driver license.
Related education or professional training will be an asset.

Salary and work shift:
This position will be paid on a hourly basis: $18/hour
Work hours: from 9am to 5pm, sometimes overtime may occur

Key Duties include:
* Keep the children's areas neat and tidy and do the children's laundry
* Plan meals, prepare food, and/or feed the children
* Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development
* Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other
* Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities
* Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and puppet games)
* Transport children to and from activities, grocery shops for the children
* Plan the children's daily schedule
* May include light household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry

Successful applicant will require a police clearance. This is a permanent role and we look forward to your joining.
