Position Overview:

As our bookkeeper, you will be responsible for Managing accounts payable and receivable, Reconciling bank statements, and Preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, QuickBooks skills, and the ability and authority to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Other related clerk's job duties to support the trading team

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in accounting, or related field.
• Proven at least one year experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 50) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Owned C5 local driver license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
