Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Buyer to oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative products that meet both customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualization and Ideation:

• Lead brainstorming sessions for new product ideas.
• Perform market research and competitor analysis.
• Develop product concepts based on customer feedback and market trends.

Product Planning and Strategy:

• Create product development plans with clear timelines and milestones.
• Define product features, functionality, and specifications.
• Prioritize product features and roadmap with stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams on prototypes.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales for go-to-market strategies and product launches.
• Communicate product vision and progress to stakeholders.

Project Management:

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Optimize the product development process continuously.

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

• Evaluate and select suppliers for materials and components.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and manage performance.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Establish and maintain quality standards for product development.
• Conduct testing to validate product performance.
• Address quality issues through corrective actions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders.
• Build relationships and align product strategies with stakeholders.
• Handle product-related inquiries and escalations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Expertise in supply chain processes and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a passion for customer-centric innovation.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Chinese is an asset
