We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist an 82-year-old individual with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will also assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is essential to ensure effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily personal care and mobility assistance.
• Administer medication and ensure timely intake.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements.
• Monitor and record the senior’s health status and report concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in providing personal care to elderly individuals.
• Proficiency in cooking and maintaining a clean environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese.
• Certified Caregiver with professional training is an asset.

Shifts are 10 am to 4 pm, Mondays to Fridays - 5 days a week for a total of 30 hours.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Additional pay: Overtime pay
