Hemlock Contracting Ltd is a value-added Canadian supplier specializing in X-ray products for the mining and security industries. We provide maintenance services to leading Global Gold Mining Analysis Equipment manufacturers from China and Australia. We are currently seeking several Service Technicians/Engineers to join our team!

**Role Overview**:

This role is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance while providing routine and on-demand services for mining analysis systems in British Columbia, Ontario, and Nevada.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Organize and coordinate the delivery of services to assigned locations in Canada.

- Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of equipment to meet contract requirements.

- Provide operational training to customers after installation and technical training to technicians of distributors and contractors.

- Perform regular maintenance and surveys to ensure high performance of equipment.

- Offer on-call and online technical support to customers, including operation assistance, troubleshooting, solution proposals, and other technical issues.

- Travel and perform on-site repairs and diagnostics as needed, with immediate action required for critical facilities.

- Prepare service records and operational availability statistics.

- Coordinate with the sales team to provide technical solutions based on business requirements.

- Handle customer requests and complaints to maintain high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications and Skill Requirements**:

- Diploma/GED or higher.

- 3+ years of practical experience in similar duties, with strong hands-on skills in tools and practical work.

- Basic IT knowledge is required.

- Must hold a valid Driver’s License.

- Strong communication and coordination skills with fluency in English; English/Mandarin bilingual applicants are preferred.

- Must be able to work independently and be willing to travel within Canada and the USA on short notice.

- An Associate’s Degree in Electronics/Electro-Mechanics/A+ Certification or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.

- Prior experience in a Service Technician role or support role is preferred.
