we are looking for a on call handyman. this position suit for some one already has a job and looking for extra income.
The Handyman / Warranty & Customer Care Technician will be expected to: 
•provide a high level of customer service with quality workmanship. 
•develop a constructive and helpful working relationship with clients and home owners. 
•investigate and determine what is covered under warranty program and ensure a fair resolutions is achieved. 
•coordinate with trades-people for larger scopes of work 
•ensure work is completed in accordance 
•order and prepare materials required to complete service work prior to visiting job site. 
•Complete your own clean-up.



Tasks that the Handyman / Warranty & Customer Care Technician may be required to complete, includes but is not limited to:
•T-bar and ceiling tile repairs. 
•drywall repairs, patch, tape and mud. 
•all types of patch & painting - walls, trim, spray, stain, varnish. 
•concrete placing and finishing of small areas/sidewalks. 
•repair and install door hardware. 
•install various trim with mitre saw and brad nailer/ asing, base, crown. 
•flooring repairs eg; laminate/wood flooring. 
•ceramic tile repairs and install. 
•all types of caulking/Urethane, silicone, Dap. 
•jackhammering, concrete cutting and coring. 
•steel stud and wood framing. 
•carpentry, form work.



The ideal candidate for the role of Handyman / Warranty & Customer Care Technician, will have:
•a minimum of 5 years' work experience as a Handyman or construction renovations, interior finishing on construction projects. 
•knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trade functions (i.e. framing, drywall, trim, painting etc.).
• a general understanding of construction plans, building layouts etc.
• experience in operation of an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch and some welding experience would be considered an asset.
•an understanding of or able to install site services. some understanding of Mechanical and electrical is an asset. 
•a strong work ethic, is punctual, reliable, self-motivated and has the ability to work well independently. 
•good organizational skills, able to coordinate several simultaneous tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and flexible work style. 
•the ability to get things done according to timelines. 
•excellent skill in the operation of power and hand tools. 
•good written and verbal communication skills are requir
