Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Location: Coquitlam
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee records
- Assist in HR activities including recruitment, benefits administration, WorkSafeBC reporting, payroll support and special projects
- Understand legislation and statutory requirements relevant to the HR practice
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
- Relevant experience in human resources/office administration preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Possession of a valid BC driver’s license
- Knowledge of BC Employment Standards and relevant statutes an asset
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese an asset
