Position: Junior Accountant / AP
Reports To: Director of Finance
Location/Department: Accounting Department
Qualifications or Skill Required:
Completion of post-secondary education in accounting or finance
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with multiple corporate
stakeholders
Good working knowledge of MS Office programs; high level of proficiency in MS Excel is
required
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Accuracy in working with large volumes of data, and exceptional attention to detail
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
Enrollment in a professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
Responsibilities:
Prepare expenses reports;
Full cycle Accounts payable (code & enter in AP module, payment processing, vendor
inquiries, credit applications, and charge back);
Bank activity data entry and reconciliations; Credit card transactions and reconciliations;
Cashbook tracking;
Assist with period end, quarter end, & year end; Filing (employee, vendors, banking,
corporate); Ad hoc duties as needed.

Rate from $16-$19 based on experience
