Job Title: Social & Digital Marketing Specialist

Established in 1998, Pepper Wireless is the number one Fido Exclusive Dealer on the west coast with 12 convenient locations across the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Social & Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our various digital campaigns and assist our business unit in reaching sales objectives. The Social & Digital Marketing Specialist will be tasked with developing digital-first strategies, reporting on planned and current initiatives, leading effective digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring that projects are executed within budget and with ROI in mind. You will play a pivotal role in growing our business, customer base, and improving user experience.

Ideal candidates for this position should be marketing-driven, and web & media savvy. Ultimately, the outstanding Social & Digital Marketing Specialist should have a firm grasp of the various digital touchpoints, steer our team’s digital narrative, and drive highly effective digital campaigns.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and evaluate the performance of the company’s social media profiles and presence, including WeChat, Little Red Book, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc. and recommend conversion optimization
• Create engaging content such as infographics, advertorials and videos and take ownership of maintaining our brand and messaging on our social media channels
• Create integrated and cost-effective digital strategies
• Respond to postings in various social channels and turn online inquiries/comments into sales opportunities
• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns to maximize the engagement rate of current followers and acquire new ones
• Manage marketing automation tools including Hootsuite/Buffer, MailChimp and Hubspot

Required skills:

• Strong working knowledge and 1+ years experience in social media, email marketing and automation tools
• Strong English writing skills and proficiency in Simplified/Traditional Chinese writing
• Passion for creating interesting and engaging web content such as blog posts and infographics
• Experience in local telecom service providers is an asset
