entry-level marketing associate

DYG WINDOWS is a Vancouver-based European style window and door provider. We design and manufacture windows and doors for residential and commercial building. We are looking for an individual who thinks ahead to stay ahead, take accountabilities, caring and goal orientated marketing associate.

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

A successful marketing assistant will be a results-oriented self-starter who is meticulously detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once, and possess excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A quick and creative thinker with some direct marketing related experience with an eagerness to learn and be challenged.

Accountabilities

Daily support for the marketing team and internal business units.

Write meeting minutes and organize marketing files (may involve creation of planners/trackers)

Shipping out samples and collateral to our branches and supporting the sales team.

Making marketing hand samples or coordinating the creation of them

Assist with showroom management

Preparing monthly sales meeting slides for Marketing Team Lead

Creating and auditing reports (budgets, campaigns etc.)

Re-directing leads from our website, uploading content onto our CMS and making small changes to the site.

Liaison between social media third party and digital marketing agency.

Graphic design for small internal and external projects.

Coordination of photography and video projects.

Sending out e-blasts to our customers

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Communications Design, or Business.

Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Google, Facebook, Udemy and HubSpot Certifications are considered an asset.

Experience / Capabilities

0-2 years’ experience in a marketing role

Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.) or Canva

Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Basic photography and videography skills are an asset

Strong organization skills and exemplary attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to managed multiple tasks and set priorities

Working under tight deadlines with various stakeholders

Strong Work Ethic with a “Can Do” attitude.

Knowledge of residential and commercial construction is a definite asset

Background in interior design, merchandising or construction vertical is a definite asset

Physical Requirements

Requires the ability to move around the store and maneuver merchandise when necessary

Comfortable lifting objects up to 15lbs.
